28 Too Many
28 Too Many is a registered charity working to end female genital mutilation (FGM). We research FGM and support local initiatives to end FGM in the 28 African countries where it is practised and across the diaspora (including the UK). We provide knowledge, training, tools, best practice models and support networks to enable effective local action against FGM. We also use our research findings to network and advocate for the global eradication of FGM, working closely with other charities and organisations in the violence against women sector.

AFGHAN WOMEN’S WRITING PROJECT (AWW)
AWW hopes to empower Afghan women to tell their own stories and truths. Participation in their projects promotes greater economic independence for AWWP writers by strengthening computer literacy, writing skills and self-confidence. We also seek to encourage the inclusion of women’s voices in Afghanistan’s national dialogue, and to support the women in forming a community within Afghanistan, and becoming part of an international community beyond their own borders.

AMERICANS OVERSEAS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS CENTER
Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center works with abused Americans in foreign countries to provide domestic violence and child abuse advocacy, resources and tools so that they can live their lives free of abuse either in the foreign country or back in the United States.
BASIRA (BRITISH ARABS SUPPORTING INTEGRATION, RECOGNITION & AWARENESS)
BASIRA is inspired from the Arabic word meaning the use of intellect and reasoning for a future vision based on wisdom and humanity that serves the interests of everyone. BASIRA will pursue, through relevant Arab film screenings, violations of women’s rights in the volatile region of the Middle East. We wish to emphasise that women’s rights can only be protected by a truly democratic infrastructure to secure them and the region a better future. BASIRA is a voice from the British Arab diaspora, women and men, who are still connected by our emotions and care for those living back home. We will work to empower women and support them in their call for equality and justice.
CAASE (CHICAGO ALLIANCE AGAINST SEXUAL EXPLOITATION)
CAASE envisions a community free from all forms of sexual exploitation, including sexual assault and the commercial sex trade. The Coexist Initiative was founded in 2002 as a non -profit network for men and boys organizations that work in the areas of sexual and gender – based violence (SGBV) and HIV prevention in Kenya. Our main focus groups are men, boys and communities although our programs are also cross-cutting.

Pastoralist Child Foundation
Pastoralist Child Foundation is a registered NGO that works to eradicate the illegal and harmful practice of FGM and forced marriages in Samburu County and Maasai Mara, Kenya. We provide community educational workshops and educational camps for girls during school holidays to teach life-saving information about FGM, forced marriage, teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, the female reproductive system, rape, self-awareness, general health and sanitation.
SAFE HANDS FOR GIRLS
Safe Hands for Girls is an organization focused on protecting young girls and women from the practice of Female Genital Mutilation in all its forms and to provide support to victims and survivors of FGM in The United States and abroad. It was founded and led by a young female who herself was put through the practice at the age of a week in her home country of The Gambia before being forced into a marriage at the tender age of 15 and brought to the United States. This gives here unmatched first hand experience in the lifelong harmful effects of the practice as she continues to suffer and endure them on a daily basis.
The SAFSS (Settlement Assistance & Family Support Services) focuses on assisting, as well as providing support group services for, victims of abuse and isolated Afghani senior women.
Shuhada Organization is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization providing services in the sectors of health, education, human rights, and women’s empowerment. The organization’s aim is to make Afghanistan a more healthy, prosperous and discrimination-free country.
